A Level Plus
Minimum entry criteria:
-
- 40 GCSE Points
- Calculate GCSE points with your best eight individual GCSE Subjects (9=9, 8=8, 7=7 etc)
- More information on how to calculate GCSE points from Level 2 Vocational Courses can be found here
- Grade 5 in Mathematics
- Grade 5 in English Language
- Grade 6 in subjects chosen
- In order to take Computer Science and Engineering you must have a 6 in Mathematics if you are not currently taking these subjects at GCSE
- Grade 7 or higher is desirable for Mathematics
- 40 GCSE Points
Students should choose three subjects from the following :

- Computer Science
- NB. In order to take Computer Science and Engineering you must have a 6 in Mathematics if you are not currently taking these subjects at GCSE
- Level 3 C Tech Engineering
- NB. In order to take Computer Science and Engineering you must have a 6 in Mathematics if you are not currently taking these subjects at GCSE
- Mathematics
- NB. Grade 7 or higher is desirable for Mathematics
- Physics
- Biology (2025 Entry Only)
- Chemistry (2025 Entry Only)
- Computer Science
- Note
- Whilst we endeavour to run all advertised courses, we reserve the right to withdraw courses if we do not have a viable number of students. In such case, we will inform you at the earliest opportunity

When considering your A Level choices you may wish to note the following:
“The vast majority of Universities, including UEA, will only need students to study three A Levels and offers will be made based on this at UCAS.
