The UTCN contract school bus

UTCN (in conjunction with First Bus – Norfolk & Suffolk) run a contract school bus service before and after school. The bus collects and drops students at Norwich Train Station, Castle Meadow and St Stephens.

Any student who needs to use the 'UTCN Contract School Bus' must have a valid ticket to travel.

  • If you already have a First Bus (Norfolk & Suffolk) pass (“Norwich Zone” and the wider “Explorer Zone” only) you can use it to get on the UTCN contract School bus.
  • If you don’t have a First Bus (Norfolk & Suffolk) pass or use a different bus/ train company to travel Norwich, you can purchase a UTCN bus pass which can be used exclusively on the UTCN contract school bus. This is the pass can be bought directly from school (not directly from First Bus). The payment of £95 per term must be made via Parent Pay. If you are unsure of your Parent Pay login, please contact Mrs Platten on accounts@utcncst.org. First Bus (Norfolk & Suffolk) have put a system in place and 'm tickets' need to be downloaded directly onto the student’s phone via the First Bus App after you have purchased the ticket from UTCN via Parent Pay. Do not try to purchase your "M Ticket" without a code. Further details are available here. Once payment has been made you will be sent a one-use code to enable you to 'purchase' the ticket directly from the App.

The App is available here:
