Year 13 Destinations (2024 Leavers)

 

The Year 13 destination data indicates a strong apprenticeship cohort, with 46% of students pursuing this pathway, 20% going to university, 12% awaiting offers, 16% entering employment, 4% taking a gap year, and 2% continuing Level 3 education. Notably, 84.6% of students are studying engineering and technology, while 7.7% are focused on computer science, resulting in an impressive 92.3% of students progressing into STEM-related fields.

Of those entering apprenticeships, 41.7% have secured degree-level placements, 33.3% are pursuing Level 4 apprenticeships, and 25% have chosen Level 3 apprenticeships. Prestigious institutions such as BAE Systems, Lotus, Rolls-Royce, and Jaguar Land Rover have been key destinations for these students.

In addition, 14 members of the Industry Liaison Group (ILG) offered apprenticeships to students, further demonstrating how T Level placements can be effectively utilised as a talent acquisition strategy. This highlights the strong connection between the education pathways and industry needs, providing students with valuable opportunities while meeting the workforce demands of leading local companies.
