Is UTCN a mainstream school?
We need to be clear with you that UTCN is not an alternative provision school and follows a similar GCSE curriculum to other schools. Students follow a core curriculum of English, Mathematics and Science which is at least as rigorous as your child’s current provision. However, students do get the opportunity to take STEM-based options like Engineering, Practical Engineering, Computer Science and Triple Science. We can also help your child to gain experience working with employers through our PSHE curriculum.
