A Level Maths student wins prestigious maths competition

A MATHS whizz is a step closer to realising his Oxford University ambitions after winning a prestigious competition.

A Level Student Sidney uploaded a video that shared his love of all things maths, which impressed the judges at Bicen Maths. The competition was set up by popular YouTuber and mathematician Bicen and aims to support students with their academic journey

Sidney said: “I just explained how much I love studying maths. I revise and read in my own time and have taken my AS Levels a year early.”

The Year 12 student hopes one day to become a maths professor but his true passion is teaching.

He added: “I love the idea of teaching maths to others and sharing my love for the subject.
