The facilities and quality of teaching we offer our students is consistently outstanding, but what really defines and drives us as a stand-out school is the incredible relationships we enjoy with such a vast number of first-class employers.

The Careers Fair is an example of this. The event is a labour of love – taking a year to organise. The professionalism, passion and dedication shown by our staff and students has made this event an essential part of the community business calendar – what an achievement.

It shows we understand the needs of our community and have the knowledge and expertise to respond to them.

It’s been hugely rewarding reading through the newsletter about the various sporting triumphs achieved by our students.

I firmly believe success in these areas has a profoundly positive effect on their academic growth and more importantly their wellbeing.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish all our staff, students, families and employers a wonderful Christmas and I look forward to hearing more rewarding stories from UTCN in the New Year.
