Employers love coming to our careers fair!

In November 2023 we held our annual careers fair. Find out about what some of the exhibitors thought.

‘We love coming’

MELANIE Spencer, careers outreach officer for Lotus, said: “The students are very well educated at UTCN, so we love coming here. We are looking to promote ourselves with the students. “As you can see there’s lots of competition for these students, because they have developed the type of skills we require.”

‘Great skill to know’

EMERGENCY services first responder Karen Holmes said: “The students have been learning CPR which is a great skill to know. We are looking for apprentices, so we want to show them what life is like as a paramedic.”

‘Perfect partner’

GARDLINE talent and resources manager Kayleigh Keeling said: “These students are developing engineering brains which is absolutely what we are looking for. We want the type of students who are interested in both environmental issues and engineering. That’s why UTCN is a perfect partner for us.”
