Why did you come to UTCN?

I initially chose UTCN for its high standard of teaching. However, after exploring the campus, I was captivated by the impressive facilities and the teachers' enthusiasm for their subjects, making my decision to join an easy one.

What did you like about UTCN?

The atmosphere at UTCN was unlike any other school. The emphasis wasn't solely on exam results; it was about preparing us for a fulfilling career in a field we were passionate about.

Why did you apply for your apprenticeship?

I applied for my apprenticeship because it offered the perfect blend of hands-on experience and academic advancement, all while covering my degree costs—a fantastic bonus! Additionally, the company's values and impressive portfolio resonated with me, and I could genuinely envision myself thriving in such an environment.

What do you do in your job?

As a site manager on Tier 1 construction projects, I oversee the entire project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. I coordinate teams, manage resources, enforce health and safety regulations, solve problems, maintain clear communication with stakeholders, and handle project documentation and reporting.

What advice would you give current UTCN students?

Seize every opportunity that comes your way! Remember, no opportunity is ever wasted—each one adds to your experience and helps you grow. As Nelson Mandela once said, 'I never lose. I either win or learn.'
