Toni

Toni attended a hackathon event at Aviva on school trip and as a result applied for an apprentice role there. She is now also an Aviva mentor.

Aviva is always looking for new ways to improve and modernise, whilst also caring about the welfare of its employees. It’s definitely not what I expected an insurance company to be like. Coming into the business as an apprentice, I expected to be treated like one, yet instead I found myself trusted as an equal.

It’s satisfying to know that the work I’m doing is making a direct difference for customers, and that by doing a good job, I can help give the customer a better experience. Since I started my journey with Aviva, I think I’ve really grown as a person and my confidence has sky-rocketed.
