Why did you want to come to UTCN?

For a more engineering based A levels experience.

What did you like about UTCN?

The drive towards the work place and setting students up to work rather than exclusively promote university as the next step.

Why did you apply for your apprenticeship?

The physics and maths required for the job suit what I am good at and enjoy. Also, my degree was funded by the company and on the job learning gave me a big head start for unit classes.

What did you do in your apprenticeship? What did you like about it?

During my apprenticeship my role mostly consisted of technical CAD drawings fromed from a colleague's design and slowly progressed to more of a design role. My favourite part of the job is chatting to client to work out the best way to achieve their renovation goals.

What advice would you give current UTCN students?

Do as much work experience as you can to find what you like and don't like.
