David Masdin

Where and what did you study?

I studied at Brighton University getting a Bachelor of Education Honours Degree in Physical Education with Mathematics. Further study was at Cambridge University studying National Professional Qualification for Headship.

What do you like about UTCN and your job?

I enjoy the variety of the role supporting students to be active and give them chances to perform actively and live healthy lives.

Did you have any other jobs before becoming UTCN’s P.E Lead and Business teacher?

I was previously a Deputy Headteacher, Head of Physical Education

What do you do to relax? What are your interests?

Norfolk is a great place to walk and spend time doing this with my wife. Also I am very active in sport being Secretary of Horsford Cricket Club and previously, Manager of Eastern Counties Rugby Senior and U20s men’s representative squads.
