Where and what did you study?

Roehampton University, London – BA Community Arts & Education. Goldsmith’s University of the Arts, London – PGCE Secondary Art

Why did you want to work in a school?

To help young people appreciate the beautiful world around them and support them to confidently explore and develop their own creativity and imagination

What do you like about UTCN and your job?

We have small class sizes in Art so lots of time to work 1:1 with my students. We are also well resourced with good facilities, so are able to tackle large scale work in a variety of media.

Did you have any other jobs before becoming a Teacher?

Yes! I used to be an Estate Agent in London, which I really enjoyed

What do you do to relax? What are your interests?

I love making things, so I create painted & mixed media artwork, repurpose & upcycle furniture, nurture my tropical house plants, bake cakes and enjoy digital photography.
