Where did you go to university? 

Nottingham Trent, Queen Mary University of London and UEA

Why did you want to be a teacher?

I wanted to teach due to the varied nature of the job and the ability to inspire others to go on to STEM careers like those I have had in the past.

What do you like about UTCN and your job?

I like the atmosphere and cohesion we have at UTCN everybody from the teachers, students and even the cleaners are all on the same page about making UTCN welcoming but also a destination that can boost your career ambitions and opportunities.

Did you have any other jobs before becoming a teacher?

I worked as a data scientist for a microbiology lab looking at the genomes of ancient viruses from hydrothermal sea vents; Worked in recruitment for top law firms; worked in a lab as a technician / research assistant run varied scientific tests.

What do you do to relax? What are your interests?
