Where and what did you study?

Reading University, English Language and Literature

Why did you want to work in a school?

I wanted to be a Teacher because I loved reading/literature and wanted to share it. I then became Year 12 Lead because it is exciting to work with an older age range as they prepare for the life after school.

What do you like about UTCN and your job?

Great students, great colleagues. The environment is brilliant and it’s more geared towards preparing students for their futures than any other school I’ve worked at. Fun, too!

Did you have any other jobs before becoming a Teacher?

Investment banking – a ‘corporate actions analyst’

What do you do to relax? What are your interests?

Various: language learning, making electronic music, football coach, pilates.
