News & Events Results Success: Year 13 Students Progress To University And Apprenticeships.

Year 13 students from UTC Norfolk celebrated results day in the best way possible, with confirmations of university places and an excellent set of BTEC Engineering results alongside their A Levels.

Congratulating students on all of their hard work and achievements over the last 2 years, Alex Hayes, Principal, University Technical College Norfolk, said:

“We are delighted by our first set of Engineering results, which our students are celebrating today alongside their A Level achievements. 61.7% of UTC Norfolk students achieved a Distinction grade for the BTEC Engineering Diploma and 57.1% achieved a Distinction grade for the BTEC Advanced Subsidiary Diploma. Additionally, many of our students will leave us with the equivalent of 4 A Levels.

“These results have enabled our students to take up a wide range of university and apprenticeship places. Our mission is to develop tomorrow’s engineering and technology specialists and that is exactly what we are doing. Congratulations go to our students, staff and parents for all their hard work.”
