Level 3 Health Futures Programme

This programme is equivalent to three A Levels and can provide access into either apprenticeship programmes or university courses. It is intended to provide a broad range of knowledge, skills, and experiences to allow you progress onto your chosen specialist areas of Health and/or Science. Students selecting this course will have a clear determination and passion for the subject areas. They will also need high levels of resilience in to keep up with the challenge of the coursework assessed elements, and effective time management and self-study skills to achieve in the examined elements.

  • Practical Chemical Analysis
  • Applications of Organic Chemistry
  • Microbiology and Microbiological Techniques

58% of the course is internally assessed through coursework

42% of the course is externally assessed through exams which take place throughout the course
