GCSE Biology.
Option GCSE Biology.

GCSE Biology is the study of living organisms; their physiology, life-cycles and adaptations.

We cover a wide range of applications such as cardiovascular disease, human digestion, human evolution, inheritance, infectious disease, ecology and many others relevant to you. We investigate how cutting edge technology is being used in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases and the application of gene technology in both forensics and medical sciences.

Finally, Confucius once said, “When you breathe, you inspire, and when you do not breathe, you expire.

What You Can
Expect To Learn.
GCSE Biology is the practical application of all of the other Science disciplines. Hence in most lessons expect to practically investigate a problem for yourself. Expect your teacher to have very high expectations of your learning and progress in class. Expect to have detailed feedback on how to improve. Expect to have homework each week. Expect to have your misconceptions challenged. Finally, expect to fully participate in class discussions, and ask for clarification if you are unsure with a topic or concept that has been covered.
